ABOUT

Cheers, I'm glad your here! I started Hoppy Beer Chic to document my love of all things style, beer, and baseball.  I live in New Jersey with my husband and my dog, a Miniature Australian Shepherd.

BEER

On weekends, you can most likely find me hanging at a brewery with my husband.   We love trying new places, but also have some clear go to favorites.  My most visited New Jersey breweries are Kane and Icarus.  They both produce amazingly tasty, consistent beer. My favorite New Jersey brewery is Troon, which can be hard to come by.  Luckily we live close, and are able to often get releases.

When we venture out of Jersey, it is often to visit New York.  My favorite weekend day trip is going to Equilibrium, then heading over to get some Hudson Valley sours.  The town of Beacon is so cute, I love to explore the area.  Heading into the city is always fun; Other Half and Grimm are my favorites there.

Pennsylvania is also close by, and when we drive out there, it is usually to visit Tired Hands or Imprint.

STYLE

I love bright colors and fun patterns, and incorporate both into my personal style.  However, I'm just as likely to be wearing a beer / brewery or sports shirt.

BASEBALL

I live for baseball season.  I'm a die hard New York Mets fan, and that is truly a roller coaster ride.  However, it's always interesting and entertaining.  I enjoy attending games, especially now that Mikkeller Brewing NYC is there.  I don't get to Citi Field as often as I would like, but I rarely miss watching a game on my couch (while drinking a beer, of course). #LFGM
